Matthew McConaughey’s first-ever line on camera was “alright, alright, alright” which became an iconic catchphrase over time that fans can’t forget. The 53-year-old celebrity debuted acting with his feature film Dazed and Confused where his ‘alright’ line is now a part of gif discourse and it seems like, he is ‘alright’ with it.

Gushing over his cult-favorite movie line, the Dallas Buyers Club actor said in an interview: “I mean, that’s the first three words I ever said in my film career, so it doesn’t bother me when people say it,” adding, “It is three affirmations, What it does for me … that’s the first three words I said in my first film ‘Dazed and Confused,’ and now, I’m doing that in 1992. I don’t know if that (acting) is going to be a hobby. It turned out to be a career 26 years later.”

“We mix the ‘alright, alright, alright’ into the discipline”

Matthew McConaughey is also mixing the “alright, alright, alright” line in their daily parenting style as he gushes about his parenting life with his wife, Camila Alves.

Speaking of their daily rituals with the children, The Wedding Planner star explained: “We mix the ‘alright, alright, alright’ into the discipline” which means that while the three kids, Levi, 10, Vida, 8, and Livingston, 5 follow weekday curfew and other school night rules, Friday nights are their time to enjoy all the fun things.

“Friday night is the no-curfew night. It’s pizza night; it’s a movie night; it’s all the kids can sleep with mama and papa night,” he added.
