Florence Pugh has poked fun at her buzzcut hair and hilariously compared herself to a “mayor of flavor town”. The actress debuted her brunette buzzcut at this year’s Met Gala and has recently gone blonde again.

The Marvel star has proved that you should never take yourself too seriously. Florence uploaded a goofy car selfie on her Instagram Stories and made a hilarious comparison of her hairstyle to a famous American chef.

Florence Pugh compares her hairstyle to Guy Fieri

The Oppenheimer actress compared her buzzcut hairstyle to famed restaurateur and TV personality Guy Ramsay Fieri.

“Sometimes when I get out the shower I look like Guy Fieri and I love it,” she wrote in an Instagram Story.

The actress, 27, sported her cool blonde hairstyle with cat eye sunglasses and starfish earrings and snapped the selfie in a car.

“Just staying….could be the new mayor of flavour town,” she hilariously added in another post. “Or should I say…’Flo’ver town.”

Fans react to Florence’s hairstyle

This isn’t the first time that Florence has made fun of her own hairstyle. Recently, she posted another selfie and compared her hair to a certain pointy flower.

Many people are fans of her new look and complimented her hairstyle on Instagram.

“Short hair looks great in you!!” one comment read on her Instagram page.

Florence revealed her new hairstyle in May

Florence stepped out with her brunette buzzcut at the 2023 Met Gala and made a glamorous entrance with a long silky dress from Valentino’s pre-fall collection.

In an earlier interview with Radio Times, she explained the reason behind this particular style and said: “I purposefully chose to look like that. I wanted vanity out of the picture.”

She continued: “Hollywood is very glamorous — especially for women — and it’s hard for an audience to see past that. Whenever I’ve not needed to be glam or have a full face of makeup, I fight to keep it that way. It helps the audience.”
