50 Cent has taken to Instagram to address rumors he used Ozempic to achieve his incredible 40lb weight loss.
The music star, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson, stunned fans over the weekend, as he posted a series of ‘slim’ snaps. Although many praised the 48-year-old, others were insisting he had used the diabetes drug Ozempic, popular for weight loss in the celebrity world. Now, he’s hit back and revealed just how he’s achieved getting into good shape.

50 Cent denies Ozempic caused his weight loss – here’s how he shed the pounds
Taking to his 31 million Instagram followers, the Candy Shop rapper addressed the speculation in a lengthy reel, while sitting in his car.
“You want to talk about weight loss, I was in the gym, I was working the f*** out man,” 50 said. “They’re gonna says it’s Ozempic; I was running, I was running, I was doing what I had to do, you’ve seen me on tour, I run around.”
The star has just come off his Worldwide The Final Lap Tour, which he concluded in Thailand just before the holidays. The star seemingly went viral online for his antics onstage, and at one point could be seen ‘floating’ as he was held up by harnesses.
After denying Ozempic speculation, the rapper then came with the figures.
“I was 253 pounds, I’ve came down, I’m 210 right now – tell me how you feel about it; you tell me how you feel about it later,” he stated.
Last year, the P.I.M.P singer was “fat-shamed” after his appearance at the Super Bowl halftime show, where he iconically hung upside down while performing his hit single, In da Club, replicating the stunt from the 2003 music video.
However, he kept quiet and didn’t hit back, but it seems like he’s now had the last laugh, one year on.
The rapper is ‘practicing abstinence’ in 2024
His body isn’t the only thing 50 has made a change to for 2024. The rapper, who also executive produces, and stars, in the Power series, is focusing on his work and goals this year.
“My new idea is so big, I don’t have time to be distracted I’m practicing abstinence,” the 48-year-old shared to his X, formerly known as Twitter, account at the start of the year.
“I have been meditating and focusing on my goals. I hope this New Year helps you excel to the next level,” he concluded, alongside a picture of himself suited and booted.
